Valentine’s Day at The Shed is not about roses on the table or violins in the corner. It is about very good food, a glass of something special, and staying longer than you meant to.
On Saturday 14th February, we’ll be serving a one-day Valentine’s set menu all day and into the evening, designed to feel indulgent, generous and quietly playful.
The menu opens with a line-up made for sharing — Jersey oysters with apple, mushroom Marmite éclairs, and squid ink bread with crème fraîche and trout roe — before moving into comforting, properly cooked dishes like crab ravioli and a light, savoury watercress and Keens cheddar truffle soufflé.
For the main event, expect something rich and deeply satisfying: wild fallow deer with pumpkin and honey berries, served with crispy salt potatoes, endives and pear. Dessert comes in the form of white chocolate profiteroles, because Valentine’s Day deserves a soft landing.
You can add our optional wine pairing, kicking off with "Naughty" Vintage — our Valentine’s-only rebrand of Nutbourne’s Nutty Vintage. Same wine. Slightly cheekier mood.
£78 per person, with an optional £45 wine pairing. Book a table, bring someone you like (or love), and let us take care of the rest.
