On the evening of the 14th September, we celebrated our 10th birthday! 10 years of The Shed and 10 years of Local & Wild food. It really was an evening to remember.
Our friends from Château Biac joined us to ensure that the wine was plentiful and, of course, delicious. With a few words in between courses about the wine from Yasmina, and a little about the food and resto from Richard and Oliver, the evening was enjoyed by all.
Some highlights were the Chicken Skin Crackling with Lovage and the Monkfish Crudo with Quince, Lemon Verbena, Chilli and Pine Nuts. The wine pairings made the flavours sing, and the compliments were flying around the room.
Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday and made it such a special occasion and thank you to all who have supported us in one way or another over the last 10 years, here’s to the next decade.
